The Virgin Islands Next Generation Network (viNGN) is a public corporation – a wholly owned subsidiary of the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority. viNGN was primarily funded by grants from the Department of Commerce with a charter to provide wholesale broadband middle mile service to providers and to promote local economic growth, innovation and global competitiveness. The viNGN municipal infrastructure provides world class open access, high speed, all-fiber optic broadband connectivity. With speeds up to 10 Gbps, viNGN has made the Virgin Islands the only fully interconnected jurisdiction of all 50 states and 6 territories, and leads the Technological Revolution. viNGN is committed to the continued broadband infrastructure, economic, and community development of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
